But for estranged sisters, Threyna and Laela, forced unity might be even more disastrous. The passing of time has not dulled Threyna's pain. On the eve of the Battle of the Cut, she lost everything. Her father never returned, presumed dead or worse. Her mother and half sister abandoned her in their hopes of finding a way beyond the curse with the Wraith.
